Station, killing a policeman, a resident and nine-year old child,
while fleeing from the exchange of gunfire by 8pm Monday.
Darazau is 110 kilometres north of Bauchi, the state capital.
The slain resident and child, according to an eye witness, were
praying in a mosque, when the gunmen started firing at the police
station, before the Islamist militants were repelled by policemen on
duty.
